The launch was announced on July 29, 2026, with the laptop featuring a premium matte metal top cover, weighing 1.4kg and measuring 16.65mm thick, making it suitable for users who need portability without compromising on performance.

The Rimbook L1 Plus is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, offering 8 cores, 16 threads and boost clock speeds of up to 4.75GHz.

16-Inch 2.5K Display for Productivity and Creative Work
The Rimbook L1 Plus features a 16-inch IPS display with a 2560 × 1600 (2.5K) resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing additional vertical workspace compared with conventional 16:9 displays.

- 100% sRGB colour gamut
- 300 nits brightness
- 92.52% screen-to-body ratio with slim bezels
According to COLORFUL, the full sRGB colour coverage makes the laptop suitable for photographers, graphic designers and video editors who require colour-accurate visuals for creative work.
Battery, Connectivity and Software
The laptop houses a 65Wh battery and supports 65W USB Type-C Power Delivery charging, allowing users to charge the device without carrying a proprietary charger.
For connectivity, the Rimbook L1 Plus supports:
