This page explains how TechZoom decides what to publish, how we check it, and how we correct it.
Who we write for
People who need a working answer to a technology problem, or a clear explanation of a change that affects them. We assume no technical background and explain every term we use.
How we research
- We start from primary sources: the company’s own help pages and announcements, and for money and ID topics the regulator (RBI, NPCI, UIDAI, CERT-In, TRAI).
- We try every step of a how-to guide on a real device before publishing. If we couldn’t test a step, the article says so.
- We link to the sources we relied on so you can check them.
- Prices, release dates and rules are checked on the day of publishing and marked with that date where they’re likely to change.
Money, identity and security topics
Articles about payments, banking, Aadhaar, account recovery or scams name the official complaint or help route, carry a short disclaimer, and never ask you to share an OTP, PIN or password with anyone. We don’t give personal financial or legal advice.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. Every article is checked against sources, tested where possible, and edited by Tushar Tajane before it’s published, and he may be questioned for everything it says.
Independence
- No company pays for coverage, and no one outside TechZoom approves an article before it’s published.
- If a company lends or gives us a product to review, the article says so.
- Our guides contain no affiliate links – if we ever add an affiliate link, we will label it accordingly right next to it for easy understanding & transparency.
- Sponsored content, if we publish any, is labelled “Sponsored” at the top and its links carry rel=”sponsored”.
Keeping articles current
We review our most-read guides at least every six months. The “Updated” date on an article changes only when we change its facts or steps, not for cosmetic edits.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix the article, add a note at the end saying what changed, and log it on our Corrections page. Report an error to [email protected].
