I have followed Samsung’s Incredible Art-Piece world record attempt closely simply because it’s more fascinating than it seems to be from the surface.
There are few reasons why this is exciting for everyone
- It’s a unique concept to beat the previously held (unique) Guinness World Record of most number of artists working on same collab feature.
- Hence, there is an open chance for everyone to be a part of History in the making
- Not just that, your creativity can get you a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note-2 as the winners are selected every week till January 16, 2013.
- Truly incredible art submissions by more than 200 thousand artists already. I am adding some of the shortlisted artworks below.

The Good News
Good news is, as I write here – ‘Incredible Art-Piece’ attempt has technically crossed the previous record and now has more than 206,000 artists submitting their artworks, where as the earlier record had 201948 artists.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts from the artists, so my hearty congratulations to them.
The final World Record announcement won’t happen until the stipulated time which is Jan. 16, 2013.. so total number of artists on that day would be the new Guinness World Record for the company.
Be A Part
I would definitely suggest you to contribute your art to be a part of the History in the making & who knows – you might walk-away winning the new Galaxy Note-2.
