I wanted to know how many Internet Service Providers are licensed to offer services in India. Searched and found it on the Internet Service Providers Association of India. Sharing some of the company names from the list, which I thought are relevant here.
This is a list of all the Internet Service Providers in India. This list has Retail Broadband Internet Connection, Internet Connections for Corporate Businesses, Web Hosting Service Providers, VOIP, Mobile Internet Service Providers etc.

Most of the above websites do not show their service areas while most of them are having licenses to offer services all over India. Of course, area’s are only required to get Internet connection. Domain names, Hosting services can be bought online because postal codes hardly matter in such cases. But, if you think I have missed any particular company to list here the do write back here with its details. I would be more than glad to add its details above.
