iPhone Tweak: SMS Signature for Text Messages

There are many tweaks getting released for jailbroken iPhone, iPod & iPads every week. And the latest addition is SMS Signature.

SMS Signature allows us to add a native text signature to outgoing text messages similar to an email signature. This iPhone tweak is available for jailbroken phones via ModMyi Repo.

It is developed by infectionfx and depends on mobilesubstrate library.

How to use SMS Signature on iPhone?

Once installed, restart the springboard. There are no new icons added to home screen. Options are available via settings app only.

Go to Settings > SMS Signature to enable it and enter the text you want to use as a signature.

Interestingly, if you add a website address as a signature text – it detects and creates a hyper link of the same which is visible on compatible smart phones.

SMS signature is available for FREE via ModMyi Repo

It’s nice to have this feature on my iPhone after seeing this on other phones. Useful while text messaging to new contacts, friends, clients who may not have our number stored immediately!

Enjoy 🙂
