After yesteryear’s successful launch of Lenovo K4 Note on Amazon, Lenovo has decided to go with Flipkart as the exclusive launch platform for the next version of their flagship model Lenovo Vide K5 Note.
The company chose Flipkart because, the site sold over 5 million Lenovo smartphones last year & the upcoming K5 Note launch will reinforce their partnership with Flipkart in reaching out to the customers residing at 15000+ pin codes in India.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will be launched on August 1, 2016.
As far the specifications for the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note goes, the phone features 4GB RAM (which earlier was expected to feature only 2 or 3GB RAM) along with 5.5-inch FHD display at 401ppi, built upon the Octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 chipset.
The phone may have a 16GB ROM during the launch & a 32GB variant will see the light some time later. However, if considering the new phones will have Android Marshmallow out of the box – which does not support apps on SD card – I think 32GB should be the default standard.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will have micro SD card support for up to 256GB, but as I said, this will only help for the media & files storage than using for applications.
13MP main camera with dual LED flash, 8MP selfie camera, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE support, 1.5W Dolby Atmos & 3500 mAh battery juice, are some of the other key highlights of the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note.
The color variants expected are; Silver, Gold & Grey.
