iPhone 5 will be launched in India on November 2, 2012. Though, the news is coming from unknown sources – many of the retailers are already gearing up for ‘the’ day. It sounds practical & makes sense to bring iPhone 5 in India just a week before Diwali celebrations – the biggest holiday & shopping season of the year.
iPhone 5 was launched in USA on September 12 and later in other countries except India. This latest iPhone is not as feature-packed as expected but the craze about owning an iPhone is still as good as it was in 2007.
According to some known retailers in India, iPhone 5 16GB model is priced at Rs. 45,500. Price details for 32GB & 64GB models are not known yet.
iPhone 5 is featured with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera, 1080p Video recording, 720p face-time videos, fast Panorama captures, new Earpods and iOS 6
InfiBeam – one of the popular online shopping website already has announced pre-ordering an iPhone 5. Booking an iPhone 5 on their website is possible by paying Rs. 5000 upfront while, rest of the amount can be paid when the phone is made available.
It’s very weird to pay that amount when the buying decision depends on iPhone 5’s real price. None the less, if you’re one of those crazy iPhone fans like me then, you can pre-order iPhone 5 from InfiBeam.com
Buying an iPhone in India will always be expensive than buying it from USA. If you have any friend or relative in USA then I would suggest you should be buying official unlocked iPhone 5 from Apple Store.
