It is probably the exciting day for dedicated BlackBerry fans in India because yesterday RIM (Research In Motion – a company that owns BlackBerry brand) launched their all new BlackBerry Playbook in India. It was launched in US two months back.

As the name says ‘PlayBook’, it is a full touch tablet to compete with Samsung Galaxy tab and Apple’s iPad 2 but with a professional touch (!) to it for all the business class users. I don’t know if other tablets aren’t professional enough!

Back in April when it was about to launch I covered a post on things to know about BlackBerry Playbook. Do read  for details.

BlackBerry Playbook did not receive a complete lime-light when it was launched in US and the air doesn’t seem any hot in India either. But, I am confident about that the Playbook will excite all the fans and they’re going to love this new product.

I heard, RIM called back (in US) all the sold Playbooks from the customers after realizing that it had a major issue. There are some good features to look forward to but mostly only the Blackberry boys would drool over this tablet is what I guess.

Well, the time will tell.

Are you one of those Blackberry boys? Share your experience if you buy this one.
