Recently in MWC 2012, Microsoft unveiled Windows 8 Consumer Preview and it’s Developer Preview was showcased couple of months ago. I also posted about this new Windows 8 and Windows App Store then! But, many people including me wondered, why didn’t they unveil the START button even after showcasing the entire OS 😀
Yesterday, I also spoke to my friend Pramod – who is an expert into various systems & networking, and he clearly said – he is extremely happy with the Windows 8 design. I partially agreed but, I somehow wanted this button 🙂

After digging in to this, I found a way on how to get Windows START button back on Windows 8 Consumer Preview version. And, I would leave it up to you, to imagine how happy I was to see it.
Start8 from Stardock brings back this little but very useful START button with a utility they developed and it is available for FREE download.
