What is Google Nexus 4?

Google Nexus is a line of mobile devices running Android OS and is designed by Google to mostly showcase the ability of their software optimization and its features to the world. The idea is to partner with other device manufacturers for the hardware support required – so that; it also helps the manufacturer display optimization and build quality in the world.

Nexus devices also carry unlockable boot-loader so that many other enthusiasts and developers can further modify the system to their needs.

Nexus series are always one of the first to receive future Android version updates, which is possible because these devices carry a stock Android OS and does not contain any other optimizations or OEM branding such as we see on other Android phones.

Google earlier had tied up with Samsung for Nexus phones and now they have partnered with ASUS and SAMSUNG to offer Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets.

The phone will be available in select LG stores, and through other retailers starting immediately. The price for Nexus 4 in India is officially confirmed at Rs. 25,999 – which I think is a very decent price for this phone. It’s a steal deal even though the phone is coming here after a long delay.
